I specialize in manual lymphatic drainage massage using the Vodder Technique. I also provide therapeutic massage focused on stress relief, relaxation, and overall wellness.
Lymphatic drainage massage is a gentle, rhythmic massage technique that stimulates the flow of lymph fluid through the body. It helps reduce swelling, supports detoxification, boosts the immune system, and promotes healing—especially after surgery or illness.
No, it’s very gentle and should never be painful. The technique uses light pressure and specific movements designed to work with the lymphatic system, not against it.
This massage is especially helpful for post-surgical clients (e.g., cosmetic or orthopedic surgery), people with lymphedema, chronic swelling, or those seeking a gentle detox. It’s also great for general wellness and boosting the immune system.
We’ll begin with a brief consultation to discuss your health history, concerns, and goals. You’ll be comfortably draped, and I’ll explain each step as we go to ensure you feel safe and relaxed.
You’ll be draped with a sheet during the session, but for lymphatic drainage, light and loose-fitting clothing afterward is ideal. Avoid tight waistbands or compression garments unless prescribed by a doctor.
Sessions typically last 60 to 90 minutes, depending on your needs and goals. I’ll help you determine the best length during our consultation.
That depends on your goals. Post-surgical clients may benefit from a series of sessions close together, while others might find maintenance sessions every few weeks are perfect for ongoing wellness.
If you're feeling unwell, it's best to reschedule. Massage may worsen certain conditions or spread illness. Let me know if you're unsure—we’ll make the best decision together.
At this time, I do not bill insurance directly, but I’m happy to provide a receipt for potential reimbursement through your HSA, FSA, or insurance provider if applicable.
